Presentation Needs

If I come to make a presentation I’ll need

  1. A room that can close out the window light, perhaps partial darkening of overhead lighting as well
  2. A projection screen, (let me know if you can’t provide, white walls just aren’t the same)
  3. Mileage expense @ 50 cents a mile
  4. Access to your group’s email list to send resource list & option to subscribe to my monthly garden visit essay.
  5. No Video recording allowed during presentation

I’ll provide

  1. My computer,  cable to connect to LCD projector
  2. Lectern for presentation
  3. Enthusiasm & inspiration

If I provide the LCD projector there is an additional $50. charge

  1. I am co-chair of Growing Great Gardens, an annual gardening event held in partnership with Taylor Garden Club, Taylor Conservatory and Wayne County Community College District in Taylor, MI. Our all day conference attracts up to 400 participants which includes breakfast snacks & lunch, shopping at 35+ vendors and an optional Lunch & Learn session. We are always looking for speakers who offer unique gardening perspectives. Would you please let me know the array of topics you cover and fee for speaking/traveling.

  2. Hi Linda, I’ve followed your columns in Roots & Shoots for years and became a Master Gardener in 2001. I’m de facto chair of a hort. seminar series committee for Carefree and we normally have four seminars per year in the first four months of every calendar year. We had to cancel 2021 due to covid. However, we are publishing four newsletters containg UA articles plus public garden videos. This month we will cover Kiftsgate court and I wondered if it would be possible to provide a link to your article about that garden. If so, please provide me with one specifically about that garden. When we resume our live seminars, we hope you’d consider being a speaker. Thanks so much. I always look forward to your articles. All best, Pamela
