Traveling

Gardens in the late summer, early fall are full of surprises. There are gardens everywhere and I intend to find them in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, the Bronx, Boston, Newport, RI, Portland, ME, St. John’s, Halifax, Quebec City, and Montreal, Canada.

In New York, the Brooklyn, NY and Staten Island Botanical Gardens await.  In Boston, site of the first U.S. Public garden, and the Mount Auburn Cemetery, plus the green of Harvard Square. There is a cliff walk behind the mansions of Newport  giving view to the back yard gardens of the gilded age.   In Montreal is one of the most famous public gardens in North America.

It will be quite an adventure.
